How to Increase Income – Part 1

Hello Savers,

So we already shared ways to save on this site and we will continue doing that via our site and blog (because savings is what we are about).

Today however, we want to share ways you can increase your income. Like many of you, we have day jobs and fixed income, but want to do so much more than just exist. So every day we think of ways to make our time and money go further. If it works for us – we have to write and share with you.

There are ways to get MORE for your money and there are ways to INCREASE your income.

If you simply would like to make extra cash our favourite way is doing surveys. You don’t have to leave home in order to earn some cash and it does not require any special skill. While what you get back largely depends on the survey website you are using, it is worth signing up to a couple of websites as you may not be a suitable profile for every survey. See below for our favourite survey sites

Irish Opinions – Earn between €0.75 and €5 for each survey completed and up to €50 for specialist surveys, build up a minimum of €10 and then exchange that for top brand vouchers.

RedC Live – Earn €1 for every 5 minutes, €1 is 1 point, build up 50 points to claim €50 via cheque that you will need to lodge into an Irish bank account.

Ask Me… Pay Me! – Earn from €0.50 to €1.50, for more detailed surveys, product testing and focus group participation rewards can be much higher, up to €100 and more.  Some surveys will also give you entry to free draws for great prizes or cash equivalents. Payments are made via PayPal.

Acumen Panel – Earn €1 – €5 per survey, €1 is 100 sharepoints,  once 1,000 sharepoints have been reached these can be redeemed and you will get a voucher for AllGifts.

Since we are on the subject of the surveys, focus groups are another way to make extra cash, meet new people and all while sampling products. Local businesses often run focus groups locally in order to test products. Why not sign up to a panel or a focus group in your area?

Have a bunch of unwanted clothes and a black bag? Why not bring it to euros4Clothes and get some cash back?

The other thing you can do is turn your hobby into something that pays!

Don’t have a hobby that might pay? Get one! There are many options.
